I actually think that's the only reason we purchased the house that we did. I can really see the potential in not so flatter things. I like to make ugly things pretty, which really works in my favor because I can usually find things more reasonably priced and make them look better. We had to pack everything up, repaint our accent walls, & scrub its every inch.really ended up being an extremely time consuming project in itself! I am sooo happy to be done with that part of the move!Everything now is thankfully at our house stuffed away in boxes.

Every second I'm not working, I've been doing something house related! Minus the many hours it took to get us out of our apartment. Sometimes things fall apart, so that better things can fall together. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28) Since today is Valentines day I wanted to share some loving encouragement to my friends! The feelings also make me realize that you never know what someone else might be going through in there life! I really don't think that even some of my closest acquaintances, would believe me if I told them things some of the things that have happened throughout my life. I try to refocus on the positive things that have happened in my life. As grateful as I am for everything I have been given, and believe everything has a purpose, sometimes I just can't help but to sulk and ask, why? Why have all these things happened and keep happening to my family.but I don't stay in this phase for too long. I have so many things I've been wanting to share, but it has been one of the most hectic times in my life. As much as I am a planner, life doesn't always go the way planned. I explained it just wasn't the color we had envisioned and they gladly remixed the paint to a more "grayish blue" and we are quite pleased with the outcome!.I will put up more pictures when we get the front looking more "complete". So back to OSH I went with the color wheel. It ended up coming out looking much more like a light baby blue, which was just not going to work. We finally came to the conclusion at we wanted a sort of grayish-blue, so we took the paint and had it mixed to a blue we thought was perfect. One day while I was at OSH, I spotted a white discounted outdoor paint, so I decided to snatch it up, until we could make our color decision. It made our decision that much more difficult. Since most of our home things are in the blue tones, we found it only suiting to paint the door a shade of blue.but what shade? There are so many to blues choose from. So it took some real convincing, but I was able to persuade my hubs into painting the front door a color! I know that some people really don't prefer to do this, but I am not one of them!!! I think it makes a house stand out, to really be different then the neighbors, and gives it some extra curb appeal.
